Are there still tickets available and if so, where can I purchase them?
Yes! To purchase tickets in person visit the Phoenix International Raceway
Ticket Office (open Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., closed holidays)
located at 125 S Avondale Blvd., Suite 200, Avondale, AZ 85323. To purchase
tickets over the phone, call Phoenix International Raceway Ticket Office at
1-866-408-RACE (7223). To purchase tickets online, visit

How do I get into the pit and/or garage area for the races?
A Pre-Race Pit Pass is required in order for any fan to enter the pit area. You
may purchase a Pre-Race Pit Pass by calling 1-866-408 RACE or going
online to
www.phoenixraceway.com/tickets.
Present your Pre-Race Pit Pass coupon at PIR Trading Posts located at Gate 3
and 8.
Pre-race pits close one hour prior to the start of the race. Guest must be 18
years or older to enter the pits Friday-Saturday.
Pit Pass holders must show identification when entering the pits. Pit Passes
are not transferable to another person.
Guests under the age of 18 may redeem and use Pre-Race Pit Passes on Sprint
Cup day only.

Pit availability depends on track activity schedule.
Smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited on pit road at all times.
NASCAR controls garage access on their race weekends, meaning Phoenix
International Raceway does not sell garage passes. Remember that Pre-Race Pit
Pass access depends on the specific event weekend. If you have a pass for
NASCAR, Friday and Saturday rules state that all pit area guests must be at
least 18 years of age. Shirts and closed-toe shoes are required. Guests must be
mindful of security and NASCAR officials while on pit road. For more details and

Where can I pick up credentials?
If you have applied for and been approved to receive official race credentials
you may pick them up at the Credential Office at Gate 1. Your photo ID will be
required to retrieve your credentials. Note: You can not pick up credentials for
anyone other than yourself.
Are there RV accommodations? How do I get a spot?
Yes! We offer both reserved and unreserved RV camping spaces. To inquire about a
spot for the upcoming race weekend, call 1-866-408-RACE (7223). For more

Can I bring children to the races?
Yes! Children are required to have tickets for each day in the Grandstands. Kids
12 years old or younger will enjoy free admission on Hillside when accompanied
by a ticket-holding adult. Please call the PIR Ticket Office at 1-866-408-RACE
(7223) for more details.
Can I bring liquor into the track?
No. Arizona state liquor laws prohibit alcohol from being brought onto the track
property. Also, no glass containers are allowed in the grandstands or hillside.
Can I bring a cooler into the track?
Yes! However, due to increased security policies, PIR will not allow any
hard-sided coolers through the gates. Soft-sided coolers may not exceed 6" x 6"
x 12" in the grandstands. Remember, no alcohol or glass containers are allowed
at the track. If you are enjoying Hillside tickets, you can carry a hard cooler
and chairs to your spot.
What am I allowed to bring through the gates?
Fans are allowed to bring in one each of the bags described below. All items
brought through a grandstand gate will be inspected.
One soft side bag/cooler, no larger than 6" x 6" x 12".
Examples include: a soft-sided insulated cooler, a scanner bag, a fanny pack,
a purse, a diaper bag, or a binocular bag, etc.
This one bag may be carried in any manner, i.e. by handle, with shoulder
straps, on a belt, etc.
The soft-sided insulated cooler may contain ice.
One clear plastic bag, no larger than 18" x 18" x 4".
To accommodate samples received and purchases made after fans have parked
their cars.
Clear plastic bags may not contain ice.
Binoculars, scanners, headsets, cameras, not in a bag, worn separately over the
neck or on the belt and seat cushions carried separately are also allowed.
Seat cushion bags with compartments will be reviewed on an individual basis.

What should I leave at home?
The following items may not enter the fates or be left around the gate area:
Soft-sided bags exceeding 6" x 6" x 12" will not be allowed into the
grandstands. This includes but is not limited to: purses, camera bags, fanny
packs, scanner bags, etc. All items brought through the grandstand admission
gates (purses, scanners, small camera bags, binoculars, etc.) are subject to
search by security officials.
Seat cushions with hollow metal tube construction.
Hard sided coolers, thermoses and insulated cups of any size.
Umbrellas are not allowed in the grandstands.
Strollers, wagons, bicycles, scooters, skateboards or pets (other than Trained
Assistance for the blind or other Service Animals) are allowed.
Can I bring a camera or video recorder?
Yes! However, cameras and video recorders are permitted in the facility for home
viewing use only. Images and/or footage may not be sold or used for commercial
use. Camera/video bags exceeding 6" x 6" x 12" will not be permitted through the
grandstand admission gates.
Are there any restrictions on Grandstand or Infield tickets?
Fans with Grandstand tickets:
Have access to grandstand seating and Midway entertainment. Infield passes
must be purchased separately.
Fans with Infield tickets (wrist bands):
Have access to the infield only and does not include Grandstand or Midway
access on reserved seating days unless otherwise indicated.
Each person who has purchased a weekend infield pass will be issued a
wristband. THIS BAND DOES NOT ALLOW PIT ACCESS. It allows access to the
grandstands on most general admission days.
Infield access is via the Tunnel located next to Gate 8.
Is General Admission seating available?
Yes! On reserved grandstand days, the PIR Hillside is available for general
admission seating. It is recommended that guests who purchase Hillside tickets
bring a chair or blanket to sit on, as there are no actual seats on the hill.
Entrances for the hillside are located at Gate 9 and Gate 11. Full size coolers
are allowed on the hill, but can not contain glass containers or alcoholic
beverages. Food, souvenirs, and portable toilets are located nearby.
Does PIR have a Will Call Window?
Yes! "Will Call" is for tickets purchased/paid for in advance but not received
prior to the race. The Will Call window is located at the Gate 3 ticket office.
A photo ID is required to pick up tickets at Will Call and only the person whose
name appears on the ticket account may pick up the tickets.
What are the track PIR Ticket Office's hours?
Tickets can be purchased at the track during race weekends at the Ticket Offices
at Gate 3 and Gate 7. Both offices are open from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. each day
admission is charged. Hours are subject to change, so please call the ticket
office to verify hours on race weekends.
What should I do in case of an emergency at the track?
In case of an emergency, or if you observe an inappropriate, dangerous, or
possibly illegal activity, please contact a track representative immediately.
Phoenix International Raceway ushers are on duty throughout the Grandstands and
are easily identifiable by their security vests. Call 911.
Where can I stay if I come to Phoenix for a race?
There are a variety of lodging facilities, including motels, hotels and resorts,
near Phoenix International Raceway and throughout the metropolitan Phoenix area.

Where can I get PIR souvenirs?
Phoenix International Raceway has numerous souvenir stands throughout the track
offering collectibles, apparel, and more. These stores feature merchandise from
all of the top NASCAR Sprint Cup, NASCAR Nationwide Series and Craftsman Truck
Series drivers and teams. Your favorite driver or team stores are located
outside Gate 3.
Are souvenir programs available?
Yes! Race weekend programs are packed with information and original articles
about the featured races. The cost of a souvenir program varies from race
weekend to race weekend.
What's the best way to get to the track?
Phoenix International Raceway (track) is located at the following address:
7602 S. Avondale Blvd.
Avondale, AZ 85323
It's approximately six miles south of Interstate 10 at Exit 131. The track is
just south of the corner of Avondale Blvd. and Southern Rd.
The Arizona Department of Transportation provides traveler information by
calling 511 or go online to www.az511.com.
What happens if there's a weather delay?
The racing schedules are determined by the sanctioning bodies and Phoenix
International Raceway. In the event of a delay or postponement due to severe or
unusual weather, all admission tickets will be honored on the rescheduled race
day. All ticket sales are final; there are no refunds. In the event of
threatening weather, Phoenix International Raceway requests that all guests seek
shelter immediately from potentially hazardous situations.
