 NASCAR star to meet with fans before last ride in familiar No. 8

(PHOENIX, Ariz.) - Fan favorite Dale Earnhardt Jr. will visit PIR's exciting Raceway Club to meet PIR's loyal NASCAR fans and participate in a question-and-answer session at the hospitality area on Saturday, November 10, just a day before the Checker Auto Parts 500 Presented by Pennzoil.

The Checker Auto Parts 500 Presented by Pennzoil will mark Earnhardt's last ride at PIR in the iconic No. 8 Budweiser Chevrolet. Fans will have the chance to ask the two-time PIR NEXTEL Cup winner about life on the fast track, his reflections on eight seasons in the Budweiser Chevrolet, and his impending move to Hendrick Motorsports, a career change that has captivated the vast NASCAR fan base in 2007.

Located on PIR's colorful Midway, Raceway Club offers race fans a premier hospitality experience. The first-class racing atmosphere includes complimentary food, beverage coupons, Raceway Club parking, entertainment and more. Earnhardt Jr. is one of just four drivers in PIR's storied NEXTEL Cup Series history to have won two races on the one-mile oval. In 2003, Earnhardt Jr. drove the No. 8 Budweiser Chevrolet to victory after starting 11th, and in 2004, he turned a start from the 14th position into his second consecutive desert win. More drivers will be confirmed to appear in PIR’s Raceway Club and other hospitality locations in the coming weeks.
